Creating links to a different page within the same web site:
- Position the cursor in the desired location of the hyperlink.
- From the tool bar, click "Insert," then "Hyperlink."
- In the screen that opens:
- Under "Link to," select "Existing File or Web Page"
- In the "Text to Display:" textbox, type the word or words that describe the link. These are the words that will appear as the hyperlink on the web page. Be brief, but specific.
- In the "Type the File or Web Page name" textbox, enter the name of the web page, including the .htm extension, to which the link is being made. Browse for the file if needed. IMPORTANT: Links can only be in made in this way to pages that are in the same folder as the index page.
- Click OK
