Creating links to a different web site:
- Position the cursor in the desired location of the hyperlink.
- From the tool bar, click "Insert," then "Hyperlink."
- In the screen that opens:
- Under "Link to," select "Existing File or Web Page"
- In the "Text to Display:" textbox, type the word or words that describe the link. These are the words that will appear as the hyperlink on the web page. Be brief, but specific.
- In the "Type the File or Web Page name" textbox, enter the full URL of the web page or site to which the link is being made. OR if the site or page has been visited recently, select it from the list.
- Click OK
